Institute Presentation
CERBM is a non-profit biomedical research organization funded and controlled by an alliance of French research agencies (CNRS and INSERM) and the University of Strasbourg. CERBM hosts the “Institut de Génétique, Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire” (IGBCM), which offers international and competitive environment for carrying out projects at the forefront of research. IGBMC operates in accord with the National alliance AVIESAN for life science and Health, including INSERM and CNRS, and INFRAFRONTIER the European Infrastructure for Mouse genetics.
CERBM is the coordinating Institution of GO-DS21 and will lead WP2 and WP8. Furthermore, CERBM will participate in WP1 bringing the GENIDA web interface to collect information from the patient’s families. We will focus on key driver genes in WP3 bringing on scene their collection of mutant alleles and DS mouse models. CERBM will further contribute to WP4 by providing expertise in Mouse microbiota analysis and samples from the mouse models. In WP5, they will be involved in the transcriptome analysis of DS models. In WP6, they will participate by deciphering the DS syndrome comorbidity network with their expertise in bioinformatics integrated analysis. CERBM will also actively be involved in WP7 dissemination, training and communication to the public.
